1927 Girls Team. Below is an enlargement of their faces with some identified.

Thanks to Susan Doores for sharing this scan.

Information from the school yearbook below tells that the players were Maxine Linn, Captain, Alta Thompson, Leola Bales, Lena Noel, Erma Thompson, Pauline Borghardt, Naida Doores, Vivian Daugherty and Blanche Hougland. Now we need to match the names to the picture.

Back Row: 1 ?, 2 Erma Thompson (Shearburn), 3 - Coach Stoneman, 4 - Naida Doores, 5 ?

Front Row: 1 ?, 2 Alta Thompson, 3 (holding the ball) is Maxine Linn, 4 - Lena Noel (Reed), 5 ?

Thanks to Donald Irwin, Anne Irene Irwin Wolfe, Maurine Doores Adelsperger, Rosemary Noel, Hazel Shaw Garton and Joe Doores who have identified most of the above.

Below: Ronda Hinds Post found this yearbook in some of Roy Gulliford's things but there are no Gulliford's in the yearbook. It lists students and players at Bronaugh and matches the information above, so although the yearbook is not dated, it has to be for the 1927-28 school year because it lists Maxine Linn, a senior, as captain of the basketball team and that matches the photo above. Here are the pages from it:
