Caney is a small town in southwestern Montgomery County, Kansas. Caney is near Chautauqua County, Kansas and is also on the Oklahoma border. My Marlow ancestors lived around Caney for many years and are buried at El Cado Cemetery west of town. There are also some early Marlow burials in Caney Cemetery.
