1904 St. Louis World's Fair
Goat Shows
In early summer, the upcoming fall goat shows at the World's Fair brought high expectations. However, when the show opened on October 5, only the Angora breed met those expectations. There were several times more Angoras present than all other breeds combined. Also, newspaper and farm magazines largely ignored the goats with the exception of Angoras.
